Time with the Schaefer family is always a blast! Kellen turned a year old, so we documented that, as well as his family with a sweet in studio lifestyle(ish) session. Darling faces, warm snuggles, their running Dr. Suess “Oh the Places You will Go” theme, as well as the magic of Christmas, candy canes and lights. Not a bad way to spend morning …
I recently had the opportunity to spend some time with the Brown family once again. I have so enjoyed our yearly fall photo shoots … it’s like meeting up with old friends, if you will. Catching up with them, documenting their lives and relationships in the moment, and simply witnessing how Thatcher has grown and is becoming his own little person. A glimpse into their life, and I am honored to be a part of it.
I was so pleased to get to hang out in studio with the Boehm brothers for a session. These boys are ever so sweet, polite and darn right fun to have around. Plus, they are very photogenic! We chatted about school, Halloween, favorite Dutch Bros. drinks, and superheroes. I even got myself invited to watch Captain America with them! I loved seeing them interact … not only as close brothers, but as friends.
Meet Karl. Hidden Valley class of 2017 senior, student body president, member of the FBLA and tennis team, tackling a full load of classes, and to top it off, he works for a local food truck. Not to mention, he’s polite, well spoken and a pleasure to work with! Whatever his future beyond high school holds, I know he will be an amazing success …
I adore this family … it’s that simple! I always look forward to meeting up with the Reids once a year to document their sweet family. Their love for each other, their family bonds, their silliness, their growing kiddos, their peacefulness when they’re together. They inspire me … And each year we try to do something totally different. We’ve done their property and old barn, an mill and tractors, just to name a few. So this year, we chose to use our own little downtown … buildings, alleyways, walls. It was a blast! Time to start brainstorming for next year …
