Oh how I enjoy meeting up with the Wilson family each year. They are a pleasure to hangout with and so fun to see how Jase has grown! What a sweet boy … He’s about to celebrate his 2nd birthday. And in honor, we started in studio to document sweet time between Jase and his parents, and then onto Fort Vannoy Farms to explore the beauty (and pumpkins) that surround us.
Payton … senior year {part one}
Wow … I cannot believe Payton is a senior and we just spent an afternoon/evening together shooting his senior portraits! You see, not only is Payton a senior, he’s my nephew. And he’s one of the coolest guys I know. I loved that we spent time doing things that are totally Payton, from the places he likes to hang out, to the people and beliefs he holds dear. Even though in my mind he’s still just a kiddo … I know he’s got a great head on his shoulders, plans for his future and will do amazing things.
(And I have to note just how hard that was to write, to look at and to think about, without getting a little emotional … definitely a few tears.)
The Matthews family …
My yearly time with the Matthew’s family is always so sweet and is always an adventure! It’s been so much fun watching their darling kiddos grow and their little personalities shine through … And this time was no exception. Already looking forward to next year!
Aaliyah … turning one
So this sweet girl is turning one and I had the privilege of meeting up with her and her family for an afternoon at the park. She was all smiles … beautiful, big smiles. What can I say … I loved her! Happy Birthday Aaliyah!!!
Turning 1 … Fiona
A time to celebrate … Fiona’s first birthday! It was a pleasure to have her and her parents in the studio for a morning to document this sweet girl. I first photographed Fiona as a newborn not quite a year ago. So fun to see her a year later … her personality, her smiles, her laughter, her enjoyment of birthday cake! Happy 1st Birthday sweet Fiona!
Karinda … senior year
Meet Karinda … class of 2017. Simply a great girl with a great head on her shoulders. This natural beauty has such diverse interests … from bow hunting to violin … It was fun to see her personality shine. I was so honored to have Karinda trek down from Central Oregon for our senior session. I had a blast hanging out with her, her mom and grandmother. A lovely, lovely evening …
Oh, and her violin, belonged to her grandmother when she was a child …
Josh & Liane … married
A perfect day in late September … you could feel fall through the warmth of the sunshine. The venue was Grizzly Peak Vineyards, set in the hills of Ashland. The details told the story like a fairytale. It was in this intimate setting that Josh and Liane said “I do,” while surrounded by family and friends. A beautiful couple … and I am so thankful to have documented their day.
