Time with the Bell family …

The Bells … one of the first families we met when we moved to Grants Pass 16 years ago. First neighbors, first friends … our oldest kiddos were toddlers together. After move and many years, this school year we have met up once again as those toddlers are now high schoolers and in band together. So fun to see! And so absolutely fun to hangout with the Bell family for an evening photoshoot.

I also got the chance to work with Naomi for a bit as the”Flu Fairy” … her alter ego! With her work in the medical community and an upcoming trip to speak about flu issues at a national nurses convention in Kentucky, it was a blast to capture images of her in her costume …

It’s the Matthews clan …

What do you get when you mix a beautiful southern Oregon spring evening with a stunning piece of property, and then add one large multi-generation family?  Answer … amazing time spent with the Matthews family!

And indeed it was! I can’t say enough about this family …  close knit, loving, kind parents and grandparents, darling couples, right on down to outgoing, funny, respectful, cute kiddos … the epitome of the word ‘family.’

A three-generational photoshoot … fun with the Jackson fam.

It was so nice to meet up with Tyanne and Franklin once again. I got the chance to know them last year when I shot their wedding. It was simple,  sweet and intimate (I believe their were about 10 people involved). A beautiful event … from the venue, time of year to just who they are. I remember when I was leaving the Applegate Lodge, Tyanne, Franklin and their close family and friends were sitting around a big table, eating a meal, sipping wine and laughing. A lovely fire warmed the room. It was the perfect moment …

So recently, they, and their beautiful daughter, had family visiting from Hawaii, Franklin’s parents and (mama-to-be) sister. I spent an evening at their property (also stunning) and we had some fun …

Sugar and spice and everything nice … sweet Hadley

I have had the honor of knowing and working with Miss Hadley from the time she was in her mama’s belly (and her parents long before that!). So cool to see her grow over her first year of life and a complete pleasure to capture her different stages through my lens.

Hadley has a personality like no other, her expressions say it all! She truly couldn’t be any sweeter. And she certainly let it all shine throughout her one-year-old/cake smash photoshoot!
