Josh … senior year

Meet Josh. Otherwise known around town as Smoothie. He’s one of son’s best friends. I’ve known him since he was 4 year old. He sold me rocks as a little boy in the neighborhood and set my backyard on fire as a kid. I’ve coached him in basketball and have taken him to the ER after a football injury in middle school. He and Q (my son) have done everything together … watch their first horror film, learn to skateboard, play music in the GP band and get their first  jobs. I’ve watched him grow up.  And I am so proud of Josh … he is truly like one of my own.

 

The Ericksons …

The ever so sweet Erickson family … I always enjoy our time together.  And this time was no exception. A beautiful summer evening plus a beautiful family … doesn’t get much better! With that … here are the Ericksons.

 

Time with the McCays …

It was so fun to hang out with the McCay family for an evening. I’ve gotten to know this family over the past handful of years, most recently with an in home lifestyle session when baby Keston was born. Now at 6 months, he, his mom and dad, grandparents, aunt and uncle came together for a three generation family shoot. This family is filled with love and it definitely shined through …

Nathan … senior year

Class of 2018 … I soooo love this year! Here’s Nathan … I’ve known him and his family forever and it’s been amazing watching him grow up. Hanging out with him on a recent summer evening was a blast. He is an awesome guy with such a kind heart. No doubt he will take the world by storm.

Cade … senior year

Wow … this Cade. A 2108 graduating senior. I have known this guy and his family for a long time now. It was amazing to spend an evening with him and his mom, reminiscing, laughing and chatting about his future plans. He’s going to do great things …

Ceili … college bound

So this is Ceili … a truly beautiful girl, inside and out. She’s like a ray of sunshine and you can’t help but feel happy when you’re around her. Graduating last June, Ceili is off to southern California to begin her freshman year of college.  An exciting adventure … where I know she will do amazing things. But before she took off, we were able to spend an evening together at the Murphy Country Nursery. Here’s a bit of what we did!

Family sessions are such a blessing to me. Each bring their own dynamic, each being an inspiration.

And yes, the Kunst family is this cute! Their smiles, their laughter and just the fun they had together. It was a pleasure to get to know them and hang out with them for an beautiful summer evening at Pacifica.

Four generations …

I had the honor and privilege of meeting up with the Wells family for a four generation photoshoot. They are definition of family … they loved and they laughed, and simply interacted with one another in a truly beautiful way.

Family reunion … with the Trainas

As the clouds and rain rolled in and out of Bigham Knoll in Jacksonville, the Traina family gathered for a celebration. It was a surprise 70th birthday party, as well as a family reunion. And what a family … they enjoyed one another, they laughed together, and they knew how to have a good time.

 

Brooke … class of 2018

Meet Brooke, my Class of 2018 senior rep. She is a girl who is beautiful on the inside and out. She is a girl who has goals and ambitions. And she is a girl who will go far, no matter what she does. I have known her for years … you see … she is my son’s age, and to me, I still think of these kids as way to young to be approaching their senior year. The memories of younger days flood back. But the truth is they are young adults, with dreams and aspirations. To watch them grow is amazing. To be apart of it, words cannot describe. The class of 2018 holds a special place in my heart. (And yes, I am tearing up as I write this). With that … here’s Brooke.
